THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FESTIVAL GOERS!
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU FROM SEPTEMBER 1 TO 5, 2022

Vaccination Check during the Festival

On August 10th, 2021, the Government of Quebec announced that as of September 1st, 2021, people aged 12 and over must be properly vaccinated to participate in certain activities, including outdoor festivals.

As the FMG is scheduled to begin on September 2nd, 2021, this new measure must be applied. A vaccination passport check will be carried out at the gates and only properly vaccinated ticket holders will be allowed access to the site.

The logistics of the vaccination check will be detailed by the Minister of Health the week of August 23rd. In collaboration with the Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau, as well as a private security firm, the FMG is already working on a solution to ensure that adequately protected festival-goers are welcomed in a safe manner.

A directive has been sent to all current ticket holders, informing them of the options available to those who will not be adequately protected against COVID-19 during the FMG.

"We thank the Government of Quebec for its attentiveness and concern for the implementation of the vaccine passport. With the safety of festival-goers at heart, we welcome the current and future support of our institutional partners in order to adjust operations and thus provide a well-deserved moment of celebration for our community" said Sandra Cloutier, Executive Director of the FMG.
