To go to FMG

You can park for $13 at 988 rue Saint-Louis. Or consider using the shuttle service and save a few dollars by leaving your car at home.

There are two bicycle parking areas for the Festival: 3 rue Saint-Antoine and 988 rue Saint-Louis. Both are close to the bike path. Be sure to bring your lock.

From August 29 to September 2, the Festival, in collaboration with the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO), is offering a free shuttle service from two Gatineau sectors (Hull and Gatineau). 

«Take the bus to get to the de la Cité shuttle:
Go to any of the 10 stations along the Rapibus corridor and take the 400 to De la Cité station. It runs every 15 minutes or more frequently until midnight.»

The regular bus route will serve Masson-Angers, Aylmer, Buckingham and Ottawa at the regular rate.

Festival visitors with a valid wristband ride regular STO buses for free during the Festival.

The shuttle service can accommodate persons with reduced mobility. Check the STO site for information on its paratransit service.

Regular routes

  • In the destination “B” field, enter: Festival de Montgolfières  or FMG or Station de la Cité or Parc-o-bus Robert Guertin for one of the special shuttles.

You can also take a bus from any of the Rapibus corridor stops heading to De la Cité station, where you can catch the special FMG shuttle.

Routes 67 and 63 stop close to parc de la Baie. 

Use Plani-bus to consult the schedule for your route (remember to change the dates between August 29 and September 2).

Persons eligible for paratransit

Paratransit service is also an option for getting to the festivities. If you are already eligible, simply reserve your occasional transportation as usual.
 

No wristband?

Use the family fare or the $2 fare when you use the occasional Multi (e-wallet) on the Saturday and Sunday.
