Sunrise, hot air balloons in the sky and music in your ears, that's how you can start your day on September 4th and 5th at the 34th edition of the FMG, as part of the Matinées musicales Hydro-Québec.
Béatrice Martin, known as the artist Coeur de pirate, is a singer-songwriter and pianist with over a million albums sold and with as many fans who follow her on different streaming platforms, where they listen to her on repeat.
Firmly established in the music industry, Cœur de pirate has left her mark on French-speaking pop music with five albums: Cœur de pirate (2008), Blonde (2011), Roses (2015), En cas de tempête, ce jardin sera fermé (2018) and Perséides (2021).
The year 2019 was high in emotion for Béatrice Martin. She won several awards, including the Songwriter of the Year award at the SOCAN Gala, as well as 2 awards at the ADISQ Gala, namely the Félix for Female Performer of the Year and Felix for Album of the Year - Pop for her album En cas de tempête, ce jardin sera fermé.
In the spring of 2021, Cœur de pirate returns to her first love by unveiling Perséides, an instrumental record of unpublished pieces in which the piano becomes sovereign.
